My client, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning Consultant to support a major S/4 HANNA transformation programme. This role will focus on delivering a harmonised set of processes for the Production Planning and Scheduling (PPDS) workstream using SAP e-PPDS, replacing legacy tools including CM25 and APO PPDS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a standardised global S/4 HANNA template for the Production Planning stream, taking an adopt-not-adapt approach to ensure a smooth transition from SAP ECC.
- Define business requirements for Scheduling and Production Planning, working closely with functional teams and system integrators to ensure accurate translation into the system build.
- Support unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT), resolving design issues where necessary.
- Collaborate with Process SMEs, Smart Manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end alignment of planning processes across platforms, including integration with OMP Scheduling.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and assist with change management to support effective user adoption.
- Ensure that the programme delivers its intended business benefits through successful implementation of the new planning processes.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years hands-on experience with SAP Production Planning tools, specifically SAP APO PPDS and SAP e-PPDS (Embedded PPDS within S/4 HANNA).
- Demonstrated success in S/4 HANNA global template deployments, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
- Strong understanding of production planning and detailed scheduling processes in complex manufacturing environments.
- Experience working in hybrid systems landscapes, including tools like OMP.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
