Lead Engineer needed for a well-known facilities management organisation based in Chelsea who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Lead Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge and interest of mechanical and electrical engineering. If you have experience working in hospitals or come from a life science background that would be a plus!
What the role entails:
- To supervise and monitor sub-contractors while on site and to confirm works completed are as agreed.
- To produce shift report detailing any significant works carried out or works that could potentially have a significant impact on the operations on site.
- Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to always maintain plant in serviceable order.
What experience you need to be the successful Lead Engineer:
- Looking for someone with a Mechanical and Engineering background.
- Ideally someone with leading experience.
- 17th / 18th Edition 2391 - Bonus.
- ECS / JIB / CSCS - Bonus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
- Experience using a CAFM system.
- Good experience and track record in working in Facilities Management.
- Good knowledge of building services and legislation.
