The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, transforming our website experience, and driving inbound inquiries. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of B2B marketing, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), the buyer journey, and the importance of intent signals in influencing buying groups.
Key Accountabilities
- Strategy Development: Create and execute a data-driven digital marketing strategy and roadmap to enhance our website experience, generate inbound inquiries, and support ABM initiatives.
- ABM & Intent Signals: Develop ABM strategies to identify and leverage intent signals, ensuring marketing efforts engage and surround buying groups effectively. Utilise platforms such as 6sense, Bombora, or Demandbase to inform strategy.
- Digital Advertising: Manage targeted digital advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and programmatic platforms, optimising for performance, ROI, and engagement with high-intent accounts.
- Website Transformation: Lead the transformation of our website to improve user experience, engagement, and conversion rates, ensuring alignment with ABM and demand generation strategies.
- Data & Analytics: Implement robust tracking, attribution models, and analytics frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness, optimise campaigns, and inform future investments.
- Buying Group Engagement: Identify and engage key decision-makers within target accounts, ensuring marketing efforts resonate with multiple stakeholders throughout the buying cycle.
- Team Management: Design and manage a support structure that includes a mix of agencies, in-house team members, and offshore resources to execute marketing initiatives effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment with overall go-to-market strategy and revenue goals.
- Content & Buyer Journey: Leverage content marketing to nurture prospects at each stage of the buyer journey, ensuring messaging resonates with target accounts and personas.
Functional and Technical Skills
- Experience: Significant experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on B2B, ABM, and demand generation.
- Skills: Proven ability to develop and implement successful digital marketing and ABM strategies. Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (LinkedIn, Google), website optimisation, intent data tools, and analytics.
- Leadership: Experience managing teams, including remote and offshore resources.
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track intent signals, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
