PE Global is recruiting a Senior Development Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client based in Shrewsbury.
Responsibilities:
- Support to planning (resource profiling and costing of verification and validation) engineering programs.
- Creating detailed test plans (DVP&R) to validate complex components / assemblies.
- Oversee dyno / rig tests on components / assemblies and produce technical reports covering findings.
- Conduct complex data analysis on test results using hand calculations and / or relevant simulation software as needed.
- Engage in stakeholder reviews, presenting to colleagues of all levels across engineering and other associated departments.
- Provide guidance and direction to less experienced engineers as needed within the team.
- Communicate complex technical information to customers, team members, suppliers and other business units as needed.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering degree.
- Strong team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with diverse groups of people and communicate in an appropriate manner.
- Data analysis/Problem solving ability.
- Analytical skillset – Understanding and reducing data in an efficient manner.
