A multinational food and food brands company is seeking to engage a junior to mid-level commercial attorney (experienced contract managers may also apply) to assist the company on an interim basis (30 hours per week for an initial 6 month term).
Location: Remote (UK or France)
Hours: 30 Hours / Week
Duration: 6 Months (From 4/3/2025 until 10/6/2025)
Pay Rate: $75 - $90 / hr
Preferred Profile:
- Mid-level attorney (4+ years experience, preferably qualified in the UK or France, or EU qualified) preferred
- Experienced contract managers may also be considered.
- Experience with commercial contracts and legal document review is ideal.
- Experience with practicing in French and negotiating agreements in French would be a strong value add though not required.
- Experience handling commercial agreements subject to French law.
Scope of Work:
- Reviewing overflow contract volume to support the internal commercial/legal team.
- Review of commercial services agreements, direct supply agreements (ingredients, materials, packaging for consumer goods), and real estate lease agreements.
- Work will be overseen by an internal senior commercial attorney.
- Bulk of the work will likely be assisting with negotiations on NDAs and service agreements.
Additional Considerations:
- Availability for ongoing or as-needed support.
- Ability to work within US/EU time zones.
- Looking for a self-starter who would be comfortable working with procurement function with minimal supervision.
