Marcilly Recruitment is delighted to be working with a private UHNW family to find a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper for their beautiful countryside estate in Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in a similar private household or estate environment who enjoys the rural lifestyle and takes pride in maintaining a well-run home.

The successful housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the interior of the home is kept to the highest standards. Discretion, reliability, and a proactive approach are essential, along with a warm and professional attitude. This is a live-in role, with a charming two-bedroom cottage provided on the estate.

\\n\\n

Key Housekeeper Responsibilities:

\\n\\n

\\n\\t
• Full housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and deep cleaning on a rota

\\n\\t

• Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate and high-end fabrics

\\n\\t

• Wardrobe management and occasional packing/unpacking for travel

\\n\\t

• Flower arranging and ensuring the home is always guest-ready

\\n\\t

• Stock management and ordering of household supplies

\\n\\t

• Liaising with contractors and external services as needed

\\n\\t

• Working alongside other household staff including nannies, chefs, and PAs

\\n\\t

• Light errands and occasional driving (if a driver)

\\n

\\n\\n

Ideal Housekeeper Experience:

\\n\\n

\\n\\t
• Previous experience in a formal private household or similar setting

\\n\\t

• A discreet, trustworthy, and respectful professional

\\n\\t

• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail Flexible and happy to work as part of a wider household team

\\n\\t

• Comfortable living and working in a rural environment

\\n\\t

• Driving licence preferred but not essential

\\n

\\n\\n

Package:

\\n\\n

Salary: £35,000–£55,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

\\n\\n

Accommodation: Two-bedroom cottage on the estate Utilities and council tax covered

\\n\\n

Start: As soon as the right person is available

\\n\\n
