Protection Specialist

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) is the UK's leading mortgage broker, with its unique partnership model geared towards strategic growth and winning 250+ awards for the quality of its advice and service.We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual protection specialist to join our protection team and you must be RO5 or CeMAP qualilfied.You will be responsible for conducting high quality calls & appointments with customers and providing regulated protection advice to them, focusing on appropriate outcomes.This is an office based role in BROMLEY where you will thrive in a forward thinking and fun business who believe in working hard and celebrating success!Role SummaryYour performance and competence will be measured against a range of Key Performance Indicators within a regulatory framework to ensure our customers respond and go on to obtain the insurance product they require.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join one of MAB's successful and market leading mortgage brokers. You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of advising on protection policies, and consistently exceeding sales targets.You must be hardworking, flexible, an excellent communicator and willing to go that extra mile to provide a 5-star service to our clients.Your duties will include:

• Conduct appointments with clients in a friendly and engaging manner, communicating clearly with clients and have the ability to explain protection products in a concise way
• Providing a written recommendation confirming the best advice to suit the customer’s needs following a comprehensive fact find
• Be able to asses existing policies, to review and replace if required to suit customers changing circumstances
• Be able to spot opportunities to review cover in a compliant manner ensuring that client is never knowingly disadvantaged
• Be able to replace or recommend amendments to existing cover providing documented reports to fully explain changes to cover
• Be able to provide quotations for personal & family protection and explain recommendations at a level the client understands or requires
