Are you ready to step into a role where no two days are the same and you genuinely make a difference? We're looking for an energetic, people-focused Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our vibrant team in Oxford, overseeing a dynamic 549-bed student accommodation scheme.
This is the perfect role for someone who's passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for students. You'll be working closely with the Scheme Manager to keep everything running smoothly while taking ownership of key areas that really make a difference to day-to-day life on-site.
In this role, you'll take the lead on coordinating rotas for the security and housekeeping teams, as well as managing holiday requests, logging sickness, handling expenses, and keeping financial records up to date. You'll also be on top of purchase orders, invoices, and budget lines, helping to keep the business side of things ticking along nicely.
Customer care is at the heart of what we do. You'll be a friendly and helpful presence at the front desk and online, ready to support residents and stakeholders with whatever they need. Whether it's helping a student navigate university life, offering guidance on financial worries, or organising awesome social events that bring the community together, you'll be there every step of the way. You'll even get to manage our social media channels, giving you the chance to be creative and showcase the amazing community you're helping to build.
You'll also get stuck into the business development side of things, carrying out viewings, processing bookings, and representing the scheme at university events. It's a great opportunity to flex your marketing muscles and help grow the brand.
On the facilities side, you'll report maintenance issues, coordinate with contractors, and make sure residents are kept informed about any scheduled works or room access. Keeping accurate records for servicing and maintenance will be part of your routine, along with supporting inspections, deep cleans, and summer maintenance.
Peak periods like move-ins and move-outs will be busy, but you'll thrive on the buzz and make sure everything runs smoothly. You'll also play a key role in recruiting and supporting new team members, helping to build a strong and motivated team.
In return, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of £33,500, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a real impact on the lives of students. If you're organised, approachable, and full of positive energy, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and be part of something exciting in Oxford!
