Software Engineer (Royal Sutton Coldfield)

We’re hiring! C# / .NET Developer | £40,000 – £45,000 | Onsite – Sutton Coldfield

Are you an experienced C# / .NET Developer looking for a new challenge? Join our team at a well-established manufacturing company based in Sutton Coldfield. This is a fully onsite role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving and working closely with internal teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining business-critical applications using .NET 6+ and C#
• Rewriting and improving legacy business logic
• Collaborating with internal departments to improve and modernise our systems
• Writing efficient SQL queries and working directly with databases

What we’re looking for:

✅ Strong skills in C# and SQL

✅ Solid experience with .NET 6 or newer

✅ Confident maintaining and refactoring legacy code

✅ Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Bonus points for:

⭐ Experience with SQL stored procedures/functions

⭐ Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs

⭐ Familiarity with DB2, SOAP/XML, Razor Pages, or Blazor

⭐ Understanding of JSON/XML data formats
