Senior/Principal Structural Engineer

We are currently partnered with one of London\’s most reputable structural engineering consultancies, seeking to add a Senior/Principal Engineer to their team.

Their expertise includes refurbishment projects for commercial and residential buildings, as well as the design of new build structures and specialist structural elements such as structural glass.

Candidate Requirements:

• Achieved at least a BEng 2:1, or better, in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Interest and/or knowledge in areas including:

• Detailed design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry, and timber building structures
• Design of glass structures
• Structural steelwork connection design and detailing
• Temporary works design
• Letter and report writing
• Site inspection and surveys
• Production of drawings and sketches

The firm has multiple IStructE Examiners and over 10 Chartered Engineers, providing strong support for the Chartership process (ICE and ISTRUCTE). They offer training and seminars to facilitate engineers in achieving Chartered status.
