A prestigious legal firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solicitor / Team Leader to join their Public Law - (Education & Children's Rights) Division. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of home and office working, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
Location – London – Hybrid working available
Salary - DOE / PQE
Experience - 6+ Years PQE
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of client matters in line with firm policies, ensuring adherence to the firm’s file management and supervisory procedures.
- Diary and Task Management: Maintain and manage a personal diary system, including timely action of bring-up dates and critical deadlines in accordance with firm protocols.
- Technology Utilisation: Ensure the effective use of the case management system, legal databases, and general office IT systems to support case progression and administration.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness within the team’s workflows and administrative processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with legal aid requirements, including accurate completion of forms and adherence to procedural standards.
- Professional Standards: Maintain compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) guidelines and all other applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Departmental Contribution: Actively contribute to the development, marketing, and success of the Public Law Department through participation in business development and client engagement initiatives.
- Internal Communication: Foster and maintain effective communication within the team and across the Simpson Millar group to support collaboration and integrated service delivery.
- External Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with external organisations to support client outcomes and departmental growth.
- Staff Supervision: Provide supervision, guidance, and support to junior staff, contributing to their development and ensuring high standards of work across the team.
