Senior Marketing Automation Manager

We are seeking an automation expert to lead our marketing automation strategy, promote adoption of new practices among our marketing community, and assist stakeholders in understanding the power of digital and data. As our Senior Marketing Automation Manager, you will oversee the transition from our current platform (Marketo) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights and help us reach operational stability within a set timeframe.

With a solid understanding of marketing technology and best practices, you\’ll translate business goals into digital and data-driven actions. Our aim is for all teams to benefit from our martech strategy and data insights to enhance client acquisition and experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute our marketing automation and email marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing and business development teams to deliver exceptional digital client experiences and maximize value.
  • Lead our transition to D365 Customer Insights, leveraging the new platform to improve automation maturity and support growth ambitions.
  • Work closely with the CMO and marketing leadership to promote awareness, adoption, and engagement with marketing automation across teams and the wider firm, focusing on influencing senior leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Enhance knowledge within the team of lead lifecycle management best practices to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage the e-commerce team in creating and executing lead generation and nurturing campaigns, along with ongoing email campaigns.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to deliver top-tier digital marketing experiences.
  • Implement a UX test-and-learn approach to measure campaign impacts and scale successful strategies.
  • Support measurement and reporting of digital campaign performance against ROI and KPIs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate across functions and build strong partnerships with marketing, business development, IT, data & CRM teams, and senior leadership to influence change.

Candidate Requirements

The minimum criteria include:

  • Proven experience in B2B digital marketing and success with marketing automation platforms (e.g., D365 Customer Insights, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Proactive, analytical mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably MS Dynamics, and understanding of CRM best practices for marketing.

Additional desirable skills include experience in marketing technology and operations, 7+ years in marketing automation tools, and experience in leading change initiatives and reporting.
