My client is a global pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the lives of consumers and patients. As they continue to expand their operations, they are offering a unique opportunity for an associate - mid-level solicitor to join their dynamic and innovative legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, advising, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts & agreements, including but not limited to distribution, manufacturing, IT/software, and marketing agreements.
- Provide advice on compliance & regulatory issues to ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements.
- Support the management of trademark & patent portfolio, collaborating with IP agents to ensure its protection.
- Maintain the contracts management database.
- Assist and support M&A activities, including disclosure, due diligence, as well as the drafting & negotiation of sales and purchase agreements.
- Manage contractual disputes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- UK Qualified Solicitor.
- Experience within the life science industry (Biotech/Pharma), either in-house at a life science company or within a law firm being focused primarily on the life science sector (preferred).
- Experience with corporate & commercial contracts/agreements, e-commerce, IP, compliance, dispute resolution, and data protection.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to simplify complex legal jargon to both legal & non-legal stakeholders.
