The Analytical Science team provide hands on analysis of samples β from suppliers, quality and competitors. They are looking for a Fragrance Analytical Scientist to join their growing team of Analysts to focus on maintaining and improving manufacturing quality standards. What Youβll Do
- Analytical project work - reverse engineering of fragrances using GC-FID and GC-MS.
- Analysing and quantifying fragrances using GC-FID and GC-MS software.
- Use of deconvolution software.
- Formula creation.
- Analysis of raw material profiles.
- Appropriately maintaining a GC-FID and GC-MS facility.
- Collaborate and communicate well with colleagues in all departments.
What Weβre Looking For
- Degree level Chemistry/Applied Chemistry or equivalent.
- 3-5 years GC-FID and GC-MS experience.
- Previous commercial experience in a third party laboratory or industry.
- An interest in method development and process improvement opportunities.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, communication, curiosity and strong team working.
