We’re working with a long-standing property consultancy based in North West London who are looking to bring a Building Surveyor on board to strengthen their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a surveyor with 5+ years’ experience looking to step into a varied and rewarding role – working across a wide mix of residential and commercial buildings. You’ll be handling mainly residential building survey work, but will also carry out commercial schedules of dilapidation, specification writing & tender work, and some party wall work too.
About the Role: You’ll be working closely with the directors and surveyor team, carrying out surveys and producing clear, professional reports. The work is diverse – no two days are quite the same – and you’ll be given plenty of autonomy and client-facing responsibility.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out Pre Acquisition Building Surveys (Residential mainly)
- Preparing schedules of dilapidation and technical reports (Commercial)
- Specification & Tender for: Insurance, S20 and other.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Building Surveyor
- Strong understanding of building pathology and dilapidations
- Experience producing clear, detailed survey reports
- Comfortable working independently and client-facing
Location & Hours: Office based in North West London, Monday to Friday.
What they offer: £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience, interesting and varied workload, supportive, friendly and professional team environment, long-term opportunity for career growth.
