About the Job
This is a hands-on temporary HR position supporting a busy HR function. Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner, you will provide day-to-day HR guidance and play a vital role in generalist activities, including some ER, across operational teams.
Duties will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries from employees and managers
- Supporting and advising line managers on 1st stage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management processes
- Taking ownership of initial investigations and conducting first-stage disciplinary meetings independently
- Advising on DE&I policies
- Coordinating recruitment activity including arranging interviews and liaising with candidates
- Providing HR administrative support including onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintaining HR records and updating the HR system accurately and in a timely manner
- Supporting policy development and implementation, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
About the Successful Applicant
You will have strong operational HR experience and will have owned some complex ER cases. Restructuring experience would be an advantage as would exposure to creating DE&I policies.
