A major organisation in the global information and communications technology sector are currently seeking a Application Specialist to join in an initial 6-month contract position (inside IR35) the successful candidate will require DV or SC Clearance already. This role will be located in Corsham and will be based on site.
About the role
We are looking for a Application Specialist to bolster the current FAS team, you will act as the 3rd line support within the team. For the successful candidate we are seeking either an experienced FAS Specialist or an IT professional with strong server skills with a willingness to learn FAS.
Your role will primarily involve incident management on our clients’ live system, on FAS App incidents that have been escalated from level 1/2 resources that are often remotely based environments. The role will be working with our other embedded engineers within a customer environment. Â
About the candidate
- Experience of FAS Applications support: NIRIS – ICC – JChat – LOGFAS – JOCWatch – TOPFASÂ
- Reviewing documentation for Installation and integration of software packages.
- Operating Systems: Windows Server 2012/16, Windows 10, VMWare, Solaris, HyperV, Powershell. Windows Policies and Firewall settings, RedHat/Oracle, PKI, SQL, PostgreSQL
- Strong PowerShell and other scripting experience
