Data Scientist – Forecasting

REMOTE

We're looking for a Data Scientist to join a global company to work within the forecasting team. You will develop detailed and accurate forecasting models to support the customer and pricing optimisation teams to shape the future of data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret model behaviour, delivering actionable insights to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Design and build robust machine learning models for demand forecasting at scale.
• Contribute to a growing library of forecasting algorithms, leveraging tools from operations research, statistics, and computer science.
• Validate model improvements through a rigorous testing framework, similar to CI/CD practices in software development.

Requirements:

• PhD or Masters in a related field
• Python
• Pandas, Scikit-learn, NumPy
• GCP preferred
• Forecasting experience (nice to have)
