Support Workers YP - Basingstoke & Aldershot

Due to high demand, we are actively seeking Support Workers to cover shifts in homeless hostels and supported living projects in Hampshire, including Basingstoke, Aldershot, and surrounding areas.

We offer a wide variety of Support Worker shifts throughout Hampshire, including earlies, lates, long days, sleep-ins, and waking nights. You can choose to work continuously within a single project for consistency or have the flexibility to work across different projects. Our Support Workers value the ability to work as much or as little as they like and fit work around their lifestyle and other commitments, or make it their primary source of income.

We are looking for individuals with experience in supporting adults and post-16 young people or a similar career background. Successful Support Workers will possess the skills and mindset to work with vulnerable individuals who have faced traumatic issues. They will be emotionally resilient, patient, empathetic, and understand the need for consistency in their approach and communication. The ability to establish and maintain safe working boundaries with those they support is crucial, as these individuals may display challenging and unpredictable behaviours.
