Join a growing and well-regarded Managed Service Provider as part of their senior engineering team. You will take ownership of escalated issues, support and guide more junior engineers, and lead on technical projects for a range of SME clients.
What you will be doing:
- Providing 3rd line support and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Leading smaller client projects and rearchitecting customer networks
- Acting as an escalation point for complex issues
- Installing, configuring, and supporting client environments across servers, networks, and cloud platforms
- Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring quality technical delivery
- Attending client sites when required (local travel)
Core technical skills we are looking for:
- Windows Server (setup, troubleshooting, maintenance)
- Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Network support - routers, switches, firewalls (WatchGuard experience a bonus)
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Strong experience with remote and on-site troubleshooting
- Comfortable working across a broad IT estate (hardware, software, cloud, networking)
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects and identifying opportunities for improvement
You will need:
- Experience in a 2nd/3rd line role within an MSP environment
- Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
- A methodical and calm approach under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
