We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a young university student, who is looking for a team of like-minded individuals to provide her personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on a young adult’s life.
Start Date: September 2025 (maternity cover with potential extension), term time
Location: Winchester University (SO22 4NR)
Shift Pattern: Live in - 7 days on / 7 days off
Pay: £180 per day = £1,260 per week worked
Free Accommodation provided when on shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks’ holiday pro rata
About our Client: Join an exciting journey with our client, who is about to embark on her second year at Winchester University, where she will be studying Archaeology. She lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that requires careful management to ensure her comfort and quality of life.
Our client is passionate about Archaeology and loves keeping up with the latest developments and theories. She also enjoys delving into myths and fantasy literature and TV. At university, she is excited to join clubs and societies that will help her meet like-minded students and attend social events. Other activities she loves include singing and attending theatre shows. With her joyful and delightful personality, she is eager to embrace all that university life has to offer.
As written by her: I love going to see shows and I am keen to be involved in a musical theatre society as I enjoy singing. I also like spending time with friends and want to get involved as much as possible with social life at university and so a PA who will support me with the social aspect of university is very important. I have a good sense of humour but I need someone who will respect my privacy because sometimes I will want to be alone or with friends. It’s important you can do basic hairstyles as I have long hair and I love doing make up too!
About the Job: In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting every aspect of our client’s daily life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with mobility, personal care, and facilitating her participation in academic and social activities. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on her university experience.
