Transport Planner (Lutterworth) ~ Permanent ~ Monday to Friday ~ Immediate Start Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire Pay rate: £30,000 – £35,000 per year Depending on experience Transport Section Leader Job role: Resource Management: Effectively manage and plan driver and vehicle resources to achieve delivery/collection times and client SLAs. Service Level Maintenance: Ensure that service levels are achieved and maintained, in conjunction with other departments. Regulatory Compliance: Optimise resources and adhere to Working Time Directive (WTD) and drivers hours legislation. Legal Compliance: Ensure legal compliance regarding any defects, services, MOTs, etc. Incident Investigation: Investigate all incidents of fleet damage, Road Traffic Incidents (RTIs), and High Potential Near Misses (HPNMs), escalating to line managers for further support.
