Academics LTD are working with numerous, excellent secondary schools in and around the Thame area who are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join January 2025. We are looking to appoint proactive, hardworking & enthusiastic people to oversee lessons and support students learning. Whilst maintaining the schools high standards for behaviour, when teacher colleagues are absent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience working within the education sector or for someone who is aspiring to begin a career in education. This is also a perfect chance for a graduate looking to take their first step into teaching. (GCSE’s in Maths or English (C or above) is required). There is also extensive opportunities to support SEN Children if this is something you are interested in or passionate about. Main Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor will be: Manage the behaviour of students to ensure they are working in a constructive learning environment Oversee the work set by the class teacher Act as a role model and develop positive working relationships with Students and other members of staff Commitment to the safeguarding and health and safety of the students
