We are looking for a Housing Solutions Triage Officer to work on a hybrid basis with a Local Authority based in London. This will require working from the office two days per week. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: – Be the first point of contact for homeless residents – Engage with customers in person as well as via telephone and email – Ensure assessments are completed and make decisions (s184) based on information collected – Provide advice and support to homeless residents – Ensure triage administration systems are kept up to date following assessments Candidate requirements: – Must have previous experience of working within a similar role for another Local Authority or Housing Association – Must have experience and knowledge of using both part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act as well as the Homelessness Act and HRA.
