About the CX Practice: You will be part of the wider CX Practice operating within the Design team. The Design team collaborates across various sectors within the CX Practice as well as other practices within Smart Platforms and the wider Eviden network on customer projects. The Design team comprises of Researchers, UX Designers, Service Designers and Content Designers. We are a group of talented, expressive professionals, where you will have the autonomy and trust to excel in your role.
For this role, we are looking for a minimum of eight years’ experience as a researcher. You will have knowledge of working across public and private sectors as a consultant and be able to make decisions and mentor or lead our clients appropriately whilst representing your consultancy with diplomacy. Occasionally, you might be asked to address internal business needs based on your skills and alignment with the CX Design team's principles and approach.

Leadership Responsibilities:- Maintain client and account relationships and meet with clients to gather information about their requirements.
- Confident at executing research strategies end-to-end, to ensure that local implementation meets direction and delivery meets the design standard expected.
- An expert in research, continuously looking to enhance and transform customer journeys by integrating innovation and technology.
- Understand business strategies and effectively bring together relevant business areas to deliver seamless, integrated experiences.

- Produce Customer mapping processes and solution documentation.
- Conduct various kinds of research & empathy workshops with stakeholders and internal teams.

- Organise and run client workshops, conduct user interviews, or compile surveys.
- Conduct direct and indirect research.
- Present research findings to teams and clients in Show & Tell sessions.
- Collate your findings to support Agile methodologies by dividing your findings into Quantitative and Qualitative research.
- Help run Assumption mapping and Hypothesis statement sessions in compiling your users’ mental models and various card sorting processes.
- Collaborate across the team with all touchpoints.
- Present your Personas or User Groups with their needs, pain points & potential solutions.
- Run UAT sessions and experience with using a testing lab would be a welcome addition to your skill set.
- Lead the research process with the project team, Product Owners & stakeholders and work closely with the BA’s and designers on delivering business requirements.
- Confident in dealing with Stakeholders and Product Owners.
- Comfortable formulating and conducting interviews with users and regularly feeding back to the project team on your progress.
- Compiles Hypothesis statements and builds up assumption mapping prior to conducting initial research.
- Goes further in understanding requirements through use of Mental models and Personas and identifies KPI’s and CSF’s through multiple user cases.
- Keeps up to date on tech and research trends and software in the industry.
- Able to lead the discovery phase through to final delivery process.
- Confident in dealing with Stakeholders and Product Owners and justifying your decisions through means of highlighting research through prototypes.
- Able to make decisions independently and guide our clients in the right direction.
- Understands the need to work collaboratively in an agile environment, whilst also able to balance the need to work independently at the same time.
- Able to make decisions independently and knowing when to end the initial research phase and start working with the BA’s and UX designer to help compile user stories and start the design process.
- Have a good understanding and experience of implementing various frameworks and methods as part of working in an Agile delivery focused team.
- Knowledge, understanding and implementation of various WCAG, A11Y Accessibility standards to your solutions.
- Experienced in organising and chairing UAT workshops by setting various task lists for attendees in achieving the desired outcome for your team and the client.
- Experience and knowledge delivering AR/VR solutions.
- Innovation in design and generational design research regarding AI.
- AI prompting tools regarding indirect research.
