Financial Modeller

In this role, you will be key in delivering innovative financial modelling solutions to a range of stakeholders, covering project work from strategic planning to implementation, which will be on a fixed term contract initially for 12 months.

You will develop sophisticated modelling frameworks and data analytics to support informed decision-making for stakeholders.

• Engage directly with senior management to understand their business objectives and provide tailored financial solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and deliver financial models and tools for stakeholders to use for forecasting and business planning.
• Use and adapt models to conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis.
• Extensive experience in constructing and reviewing complex financial models in Excel.
• Actively participate in model design discussions and prepare model specification documents.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge of financial modelling, alongside strong commercial awareness, enabling them to clearly explain complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex techniques.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation software.
• A recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.
