Their dynamic team in Birmingham is expanding, and they’re looking for a skilled Project Manager to join them as they continue to deliver innovative and impactful solutions. The Role: They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and take ownership of a range of exciting and challenging projects in the built environment. This role will involve managing complex construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll be working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, and will be responsible for overseeing project planning, procurement, and delivery. Key Project Manager Responsibilities: Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project outcomes. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and project teams on JCT contract management and other contractual matters. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders. Oversee procurement processes and manage tendering and contract negotiations. Monitor project performance, track key deliverables, and manage risks to ensure projects stay on track. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager within the built environment sector, with a strong track record of managing construction projects. Extensive experience with JCT contracts and contract administration. Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. A degree or relevant qualifications in a construction-related field (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, etc.). Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Desirable: Chartership status (e.g., RICS, APM, or similar).
