Position Overview: The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Economics curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The role entails fostering a stimulating and insightful learning environment that encourages critical thinking analytical skills and a deep understanding of economic principles and their realworld applications. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver inspiring Economics lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos. Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation. Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Social Sciences department and across the school to enrich the learning experience. Stay abreast of current economic trends pedagogical approaches and developments in Economics education. Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelors degree or higher in Economics or a closely related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at the secondary level preferably across Key Stages 4 and 5.
