The Software Engineering Placement Student will work in an Agile product development team leading the delivery of innovative new software solutions to the research community. The products are predominantly written in C++ and C# and we are enthusiastic test driven development practitioners using the latest tools available You can click on this link to see the full role profile. This is a 12-month fixed term contract starting in September 2025 and will work a hybrid model at OI Andor, Springvale Business Park, Belfast. We are for looking enthusiastic marketing students who: Are completing the second year of a degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software, Engineering or Science by June 2025 Are available to start placement in September 2025 Are proficient at scripting and programming Have knowledge of all stages of software lifecycle development.
