Role: Temporary Social Media Coordinator - Bradford

Salary: £30K (this will be pro rata and paid on an hourly rate)

Contract length: Now until September

Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday

Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a national utilities business. To communicate and engage with customers, colleagues and stakeholders and build trusting relationships that keeps the company relevant giving us the freedom to operate and achieve the company ambition.

Responsibilities:

  • To support the digital team to deliver the social media strategy by creating engaging content and communication plans
  • To create and manage paid for social media campaigns
  • To help create engaging content to support customer experience initiatives and projects
  • To support the comms team and other colleagues to achieve the wider comms and engagement strategy
  • To support the comms team with research, costs, invoicing, and working with agencies
  • To write content for all our channels to help tell our story
  • To support with audience insight and measurement
  • To utilise social media listening tools to support brilliant customer engagement
  • To stay up to date with social trends and industry news to identify opportunities for content creation and amplification
  • To identify and escalate potential issues, working closely with the wider comms team to mitigate them
  • To support with answering social media enquiries by working with internal stakeholders
  • To help manage workload with agencies
  • To work on projects across the Brand team, providing support, technical knowledge and content development assistance
  • To help support wider content and copywriting initiatives when required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proactive, creative and driven with an ability to put creative ideas into action
  • Strong time management skills
  • A proven track record of delivering effective digital campaigns with significant results and within a pressured environment
  • Has the ability to influence key stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Excellent skills in relation to online channel and content publishing
  • Excellent knowledge of a range of digital monitoring tools
  • An ability to create content that users want to engage with and ability to utilise this content to build relationships and create advocacy
  • Strong knowledge of the digital environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and written skills
  • Strong ability to organise and plan work
  • Be able to work independently and support and contribute to a team
  • A basic level of technical skills in relation to online channel development, in particular intranets, websites.
  • Strong knowledge of the overall online environment including social media and how this can be used to drive interest in the work we do.
