The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting for a Home Based Power Generation Commissioning Engineer to work for an expanding business that provides engineering, installation and asset care support of hydrogen ready gas-fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants.

You will be part of the project and commissioning team responsible for post installation inspections identifying all installation faults and ensuring all problems are resolved to the required standards. You will train clients on products to allow safe operation and offer troubleshooting support where required from time to time.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Hold a minimum qualification to ONC/D, NVQ level II or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical discipline
  • Hold a recognised Health and Safety qualification
  • Time served Technician with diesel, hydro, biomass and/or gas power generation knowledge and knowledge of gas and diesel engines
  • Past Commissioning Engineering experience
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Comfortable travelling across the UK and Europe including working away from home during the week
