Job Description Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an Events Manager to join our F1 Events team. Base location out of season will be Appleton-Thorn, though flexibility on location could be given. As Events Manager you will manage the day-to-day operation ensuring adherence to all Company and Legislative compliance standards. Planning truck movements within UK/Europe in accordance to the F1 season calendar following cross boarder movement legality. When at events carrying out technical trailer/pod builds following SSW and written processes in line with customer schedules. This is a full time, permanent position working flexible hours depending on events and off season. Job responsibilities of Events Manager include: Transporting high-spec cargo, following legal, compliance and Brexit perimeters Preparing and loading of equipment, along with the delivery and set up once at the event. As well as break down the event and transport the specialist equipment on to the next location Attention to detail through the entire event, ensuring you continually monitor and maintain the appearance of every single piece of equipment Ensuring all target dates are met within agreed timescales with the customers and all components are fully operational Completing customer event reports Budget management, raising POs, ensuring all customer work has POs prior to start Manual technical trailer and POD builds, maintenance, cleaning and ensuring all is operational on agreed timescales for customer Responsible for travel arrangements i.e., flights, hotels, ferry, Euro tunnel, (Supported by back-office operations team) Ensuring all trucks have relevant kit, fuel cards, toll boxes, various taxes for crossing boarders. Assisting in accident investigation and follow up (Supported by back-office operations team) Ensuring all vehicles are operating during the race season at a Formula 1 presentation standard Ensure all legal documentation is present for trucks/trailers, permission to drive letters, certificates of conformity, insurance, V5, EU community licence, Truck tacho calibration, insurance green card, ECMT certificates of roadworthiness, low noise Austria, trailer registration, ECMT cert of compliance, trailer goods in transit insurance. Have a clear understanding of exit & entry declarations & GVMS route logs Ensure all drivers are made aware of legal updates/changes in legislation Assist with goods vehicle movement checks when required (any rejections etc.) Supervising the WTD process whilst drivers are on event on other work ensuring hours are logged correctly Liaise with Driver Agencies, customers, General Public, Emergency services, Recovery Companies, service providers nationally and internationally, (Supported by back-office operations team) Follow the accident/incident and H&S processes in place Qualifications To apply for the role of Events Manager, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications: Have previous Events Management experience ideally within prestige Motor sports/F1. Have a Class C+E license. Working knowledge of EU Drivers Hours and WTD Legislation Working knowledge of Tachograph legislation.
