About Freja
Freja is the UK’s leading bone broth brand, a category that sits between premium ingredients and functional food, with an ecommerce-first business model. Following 4 years of rapid growth and a recent investment round, we are refreshing our brand, and building a team to scale the business. We’re a small internal team that punches above our weight. We operate a flat structure and a ‘get things done’ mentality. We all roll our sleeves up and execute.
About the Role
We’re looking for a smart, proactive Ecom & Email Marketing Executive to support our Head of Ecommerce across key digital growth channels. This is a hands-on role that will touch all areas of our ecommerce operation—from managing our email marketing calendar and building product pages, to supporting customer journeys and assisting with on-site merchandising. You’ll work closely with our founder-led brand and creative team to bring our content to life in ways that serve our customers—helping them explore the benefits of bone broth, discover our products, and navigate our site with ease.
Key areas of ownership:
- Support the execution of weekly email newsletters, from content planning and copy to testing and reporting
- Assist in updating landing pages, product pages and site content to ensure it’s always accurate, engaging and on-brand
- Help coordinate product launches, promotions and digital campaigns
- Monitor customer journeys and flag opportunities to improve UX and conversion
- Pull performance reports and contribute insights on key metrics (email, product, site)
About you
This role would suit someone with some understanding of / interest in health food and nutrition, who wants to be part of a great brand on an epic growth journey. Ideally, you will be interested in learning more about the business and how to improve our customer experience. You might have worked in a similar marketing role before—or you might be looking for your first in-house role after an agency. Either way, you’re curious, creative, analytical, and excited to roll up your sleeves.
We’re looking for:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Shopify & Klaviyo or other e-commerce platforms.
- Highly analytical and proficient with reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and online merchandising.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
Remote-First Working
Freja operates a remote-first working environment. This means that your official place of work is at home, but we do require the team to attend weekly meetings in the office, and occasional workshops and events in other locations. Where travel is required to the office or to any other location, this is covered in expenses.
Benefits
We are committed to continuous improvements to our team benefits and ways of working:
- The opportunity to play a key role in a growing challenger brand.
- Competitive salary.
- All employees will have EMI share options, giving them the opportunity to participate in our success.
- Remote-first role, 3-4 days per month in the office.
- Flexible working hours.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- The tech you need to get the job done.
- Allocated budget and time off for personal and professional training and development.
- Plenty of bone broth!
