We are searching for a dynamic Business Analyst to lead the way in designing and refining business processes that drive meaningful change across the organisation. Key Responsibilities
- Champion engagement between IT and business departments, surfacing demand and facilitating collaboration on end-to-end processes.
- Build trusted relationships with end users, representing IT at team meetings and ensuring business needs are clearly understood.
- Proactively identify and interpret business needs, transforming them into actionable requirements for IT colleagues.
- Challenge assumptions, outline risks and opportunities, and manage stakeholder expectations to optimise business value.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into language that is accessible for non-technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops to prioritise requirements and resolve conflicts between immediate needs and long-term objectives.
- Collaborate closely with architecture, IT services, and functions to shape future opportunities and bridge capability gaps.
- Contribute to solution evaluation, mapping impacts across systems, processes, and business rules.
- Utilise business process analysis and modelling to achieve improvements, including cost/benefit assessments.
- Support user acceptance testing and change implementation, assisting with procedures and user training.
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience delivering detailed business analysis and supporting successful project delivery.
- Knowledge of Financial Services, ideally Wealth Management, Mortgages, Protection, and the IFA market.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting at all levels.
- Expertise in root cause analysis, business process mapping, data gathering, and running user workshops.
- Focus on business outcomes and collaboration, with experience breaking down organisational silos.
- Highly competent in MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Understanding of technology infrastructures, project lifecycles, and SBG’s business and services.
