We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our Property Maintenance team in Newmarket. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, upkeep, and operational efficiency of our properties. You'll carry out a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, and repairs. Your day-to-day work will support the delivery of a safe and high-quality environment for all staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, tiling, and fixes to windows, doors, and locks.
- Install and repair guttering and drainage systems.
- Conduct basic plumbing work and source materials as required.
- Liaise with contractors and supervise their work when necessary.
- Support colleagues by providing cover during absences and responding to call-outs.
