Calibration Engineer Wolverhampton Aerospace/Defence Permanent Employment The Role – Calibration Engineer This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician with extensive expertise in test equipment sustainment and calibration to join a prominent engineering business in Wolverhampton. You will be tasked with the calibration and sustainment of deployed Test Equipment covering full product lifecycle across the production engineering department. The systems involved span mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution domains, so a universal engineering background would be beneficial. Duties – Calibration Engineer Perform calibration activities on measuring instrumentation Maintain and adjust electronic instrumentation Perform maintenance on active test equipment hardware Support calibration of new Test Equipment Systems Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation Work closely with engineers to investigate and resolve issues affecting production Support root cause investigations related to Test Equipment Systems or components Assist with internal and external quality audits of deployed Test Systems or sub-components Background – Calibration Engineer Level 3 Engineering qualification (Minimum) Test Equipment calibration experience Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications Electrical qualification (18th Edition/ BS7671) – desirable Omega For more information about this role, please contact Lee Powell on 01453 829530 or send a copy of your CV to Candidates who are currently a Test Engineer, Test Technician, Calibration Technician, Mechanical Technician, Development Engineer, Sustainment Technician, Test Equipment Engineer or similar would be suitable for this role.
