What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
- Day-to-day bookkeeping using Microsoft Business Central
- Bank reconciliations and managing both accounts payable and receivable
- Monitoring and chasing overdue payments to minimise debt
- Producing aged debtor reports and credit analysis
- Supporting VAT returns and month-end procedures
- Assisting with audit preparation and year-end accounts
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
- Ideally 2-3 years experience in finance with a solid understanding of debits and credits
- Confident in using accounting software (Business Central experience a bonus)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience in SMEs or multi-entity environments is advantageous
