A new contemporary Japanese restaurant that will be opening in Central London in 2025 is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team. As Executive Chef, you will be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional standards and helping to build a reputation that will ensure the restaurant is considered one of the best amongst its competitors. You will work with quality ingredients to create authentic Japanese cuisine for a 100+ cover Restaurant, Bar and Private Dining. There is an excellent remuneration package and benefits on offer for the right candidate.
The Person
- Previous experience as an Executive/Head Chef within busy restaurants and good all-round knowledge of Japanese/Pan-Asian cuisine - including Sushi, Robata, Tempura and Buns.
- Experience with opening a new restaurant would be highly beneficial.
- An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a team of 20+ Chefs.
- Your organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail will be vital in maintaining excellence.
- Sound financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing.
- Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
