The newly renovated Grand Hotel Leicester is seeking a motivated, dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager. You will report to the Hotel General Manager working towards creating memorable experiences for our guests during their stay with us. You are expected to employ an organised, planned and strategic approach to sales management, revenue generating activities and customer engagement and brand activity to achieve clear supported business results. The role is measured through key sales metrics and KPIs including monthly revenue and opportunity reporting.
A Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Strong focus in identifying and targeting potential clients through networking and market research
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Preparing and presenting sales reports to senior management
To be successful in the role of Hotel Sales Manager, we require:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
