Role Overview:
- Concrete pour preparation works and other GCO activities as directed
- Placing, spreading, compacting and finishing fresh concrete using professional techniques.
- Operation of concrete plant including compaction plant, mechanical screeds, hand floats and power floats
- Dry concrete finishing of cured concrete to achieve specified standards
- Following all health and safety and wellbeing policies.
- Is fully committed to and actively promotes all aspects of Build Sure and SRM values, culture and behaviours throughout the project.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- CSCS Blue Card (with relevant Concrete finishing VQ)
- Level 2 in Concrete Finishing
- Power tools
- Face Fit Tested
- Working at Heights
- Asbestos Awareness
- IOSH Working Safely
- Positive attitude to work
- Strong communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Full UK Driving license as transport to site will not be provided.
- Experience of working in a nuclear environment.
