Interim Chief People Officer – NHS Organisation, East of England – Start ASAP – approximately 6-Months – VSM We are currently working with an NHS organisation based in the East of England, who are looking for a new Interim Chief People Officer. This role is expected to start ASAP and will run for approximately 6 months, providing cover while the organisation recruits a substantive postholder. The Interim Chief People Officer job will ideally be performed on a full-time basis. The position is ideally full-time and falls inside IR35 , with VSM banding (preferably via a Fixed-Term Contract). The successful candidate will need to commit to regular on-site presence each week. Key Responsibilities: Leading the delivery of the organisation’s People Strategy Improving and leading on staff engagement Developing an open, inclusive, supportive, and learning culture Creating an empowering, inclusive, and innovative environment Ensuring there is a fair, transparent, and cost-effective pay and reward strategy Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will have: A proven HR leadership background at or near Board level within a healthcare organisation . Significant experience in organisational development and driving transformational change . Strong influencing skills to work effectively across organisational boundaries. A track record as an inspirational, values-driven leader . Experience in mental health settings (desirable but not essential).
