A technology hardware specialist client is seeking a Hardware Sales Associate to create used hardware partnership opportunities. You will manage the initial onboarding phase and nurture long-term relationships with their clients. This is a crucial role expanding the company's client base and offering. You will report to the Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing New Business Opportunities: Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities. Identify trends, customer pain points, and opportunities within the sector. Build a pipeline of new business prospects and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
- Partnership Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth integration and alignment of goals between both parties. Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate a seamless transition from contract signing to active partnership. Ensure new clients grasp the full potential and capabilities of their products and services.
- Account Management: Cultivate and sustain robust, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations. Act as the primary point of contact throughout the partnership, ensuring clients receive prompt support and attention. Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their evolving needs and deliver bespoke solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and operations. Provide feedback and insights to help shape product offerings based on client needs and market trends.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on sales activities, client interactions, and performance against metrics. Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of key accounts and new business opportunities.

- Proven experience (2+ years) in business development or sales, within a hardware reseller environment.
- Strong understanding of the refurbished second user market and broker market.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with clients to create customised solutions.
- Analytical and data driven.
- Possess an ability to leverage data, metrics and insights to optimise sales strategies, improve decision-making, and drive revenue growth.
