Opportunity to join a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry. Do you have experience in the installation of Subsea Structures, Mooring Systems, Riser Systems, Flexible Flowlines, or Umbilicals? In this contract role, you will prepare the scope and support the offshore crew during operations. You will ensure interface coordination with the Client, suppliers, offshore crew, and the design team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supervise a team of engineers and manage a package of work.
- Oversee all external interfaces (clients, suppliers) and internal interfaces (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, purchase).
- Prepare documents and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects developed by the group.
- Work autonomously and supervise engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of products.
- Plan, prepare, and confirm specific procedures (validation tests on site, transportation, and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings), defining priorities.
- Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases to validate technical solutions, ensuring compliance with the Group's HSEQ standards.
- Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with project standards regarding Quality, Cost, and Time.
- Act as the technical owner, selecting contractors and supervising subcontracted studies.
- Validate concepts and plan changes, considering HSEQ criteria.
- Validate developments and propose improvements, adhering to HSEQ standards.
- Contribute to the development and progression of the team.
- Consolidate the expertise of the installation team.
- Propose innovative solutions to reduce costs.
Your experience
You should demonstrate knowledge, skills, experience, and behaviours in the following areas:
- Having a Master of Engineering degree and relevant work experience in the energy sector.
- Experience in Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals is required.
- Experience in Mooring Installation and other relevant areas is desirable.
- Experience in Offshore Operations.
- Autonomy, coordination, and communication skills are key assets.
- Experience leading teams.
- Fluent in English.
