We’re partnering with a prestigious institution to find a Fully Qualified Accountant to join their close-knit finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key financial functions including statutory reporting, audit support, investment oversight, and payroll, while contributing to a meaningful mission within a respected and values-led organisation.

As a Fully Qualified Accountant, you will:

  • Lead on the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the year-end audit process
  • Provide expert guidance on accounting treatments and uphold strong financial controls
  • Support a small transactional finance team across AP, AR, and month-end close
  • Contribute to the financial oversight of trusts, endowments, and drawdowns
  • Oversee payroll approvals, tax compliance, and employee benefit schemes
  • Produce detailed cash flow forecasts and support treasury management
  • Work collaboratively across departments to support financial planning and promote value-for-money

What we’re looking for:

  • CCAB-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards (RCCA/UK GAAP)
  • Proven experience in financial and management accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems
  • Experience supporting or leading small finance teams
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Sector experience in education, charity or public sector is desirable
