Key Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, your role will include: Supporting children with their learning and general wellbeing, helping them reach their full potential in a safe and caring environment. Providing tailored support, including care needs and positive behaviour management, where required. Assisting the class teacher in delivering high-quality, differentiated educational activities as part of a broad and balanced curriculum. Promoting independence and personal development while maintaining high standards of behaviour. Adapting to the varied nature of the role and providing support wherever needed. Ideal Candidate: To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate: Experience working with SEN in either a paid or voluntary capacity. A GCSE Maths and English Level 3 or above qualification (essential). A Level 2 or above qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable). An understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures. Flexibility, creativity, and a child-focused approach. A positive, proactive attitude toward meeting individual pupils’ needs. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (desirable).
