This is a contract role for a Statutory Reporting Accountant, based in Manchester with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing statutory audits, and liaising with external auditors. The Statutory Reporting Accountant will also be responsible for financial reporting, reviewing accounting policies, and performing reconciliation tasks.
Qualifications:- Experience in preparing financial statements and statutory reporting
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Strong skills in managing statutory audits and liaising with external auditors
- Proficiency in financial reporting and review of accounting policies
- Preparing statutory accounts for 10 entities
- Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- US GAAP knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
- Ability to work independently and in hybrid work environments
Day rate on offer would be up to £450 per day outside IR35.
