Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Salary/Benefits: £25k – £40k + Training & Benefits Our Client is a professional and UKAS Accredited Asbestos company, with a well-established client base UK-wide. Due to recently winning new contracts, they are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor in the North West region, to cover industrial, commercial and local authority client sites. You will be undertaking the full range of Asbestos Surveys as well as maintaining strong and efficient working relationships with other members of the teams and clients. Salaries and packages are excellent and reviewed regularly. Locations of work include: Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Bolton, Blackburn, Clitheroe, Colne, Stockport, Bolton, Leigh, Wigan, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Liverpool, St Helens, Ormskirk, Preston, Southport, Formby, Blackpool, Halifax, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds. Experience / Qualifications: – Must have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally for a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy – Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) – Must be able to demonstrate a high level of industry technical knowledge – Strong IT skills – Able to produce detailed written reports – Professional and hardworking manner The Role: – Completing the full range of Asbestos surveys, including: Management, Demolition and Refurbishment – Writing detailed survey reports and updating internal records – Safely sampling for suspected ACMs – Directly discussing technical matters with Clients, by providing technical advice and project updates – Travelling as per Client requirements – Representing the company in a professional manner Alternative job titles: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Consultant, Asbestos Analyst, Environmental Surveyor.
