We are working with our client who are an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Machinist on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification. Responsibilities Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes Person Specification A time served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience FANUC or HAAS setting / programming experience Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment Will be willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others Flexible in their approach – willing to do overtime when required to suit customers’ requirements Benefits £38k-£50k annual salary Day shift (the option of night shift is available, although not immediately, plus a shift allowance) Pension 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Paid overtime
