As a Field Care Supervisor, you will ensure service users receive the highest standard of person-centred care by conducting assessments, supporting care workers, and maintaining compliance with CQC standards. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone passionate about quality assurance and care delivery.

Responsibilities for the Field Care Supervisor Include:

  • Carrying out new client care needs assessments
  • Creating and updating personalised care plans
  • Conducting carer supervisions, spot checks, and annual appraisals
  • Investigating and resolving care-related complaints in line with policy
  • Participating in the on-call rota to ensure continuity of care
  • Supporting with carer training (mandatory and refresher sessions)
  • Ensuring all care delivery meets CQC standards and best practices

About You:

  • Ideally QCF Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care or NVQ Level 4 in Management
  • Experience working in home care or residential care environments
  • Confident in writing person-centred, outcome-focused care plans
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Able to conduct effective staff assessments and supervision
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Passion for high-quality care and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to deliver staff training (or learn how to do so)
