Picker

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing distribution company in the Enfield area as a temporary Picker to assist in preparing orders for shipping.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 14:30 – 20:30 and 15:00 – 21:00. This is a temporary role, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate, subject to attendance, time keeping and performance.

Duties:

• The role involves working in a freezer. PPE will be provided.
• Maintain a clean and well-organised working environment
• Role requires carrying goods weighing up to 25kg
• You will check containers for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected.
• All aspects of warehouse activities

Key attributes required for the role:

• Attention to detail to ensure quality products
• Ability to keep up with the fast nature of the job
• Experience in similar role, able to pick, place and arrange products on pallets.
• Ability to perform to a high level of accuracy.
• Great organisational skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Good work ethic including punctuality
